Randy Grigg - President
After attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas on a baseball scholarship, Randy earned his bachelor's degree in biology from Cal State Fullerton. Completing his formal education at University of California, Riverside with a master's of science degree he and his wife Angene moved from Southern California to Bakersfield. Upon graduation, Randy pursued a career in agriculture as a pest management consultant to growers in the Southern San Joaquin Valley and also managed almond orchards for out of area "gentleman farmers."
During his 30 year stint in agriculture Randy became proficient at buying real estate for he and his wife's portfolio. Later, discovering the benefits of buying and selling real estate by auction, he and his partner Connie Waddell started an auction business, California Premier Auctions later named Elite Auctions.
Being involved with real estate transactions since 1977, Randy discovered the benefits of using the auction method to purchase property after attending a luxury home auction in his home town. The auction seemed to eliminate the time-consuming negotiation process and allowed all of the buyers to see who they were bidding against. Randy has bought and sold numerous properties and believes that the auction process is the most efficient way for buyers to purchase property without all of the hassles, negotiations, and under-motivated sellers. Mike Grigg, AARE - Chief Auctioneer
Mike graduated from the prestigious "World Champion College of Auctioneers." He has participated in charity and real estate auctions and handles agent/broker relations. He has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Marketing. Mike is the Past President for the California State Auctioneers Association (CSAA) and current member. He is the 2009 California State Auctioneer Champion. Mike has been designated AARE, which means he is an Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate appointed by the National Auctioneers Association.
Mike has called a variety of real estate auctions in California and understands that the buyers determine the true value of real estate through the bidding process. He is one of the 2004 California State Auctioneers Association Bid Calling Champions. Mike began his career in the real estate auction business in 2002 and believes that real estate auctions are the purest form of price realization. Learning real estate exclusively through the auction method is an advantage to potential clients and makes Mike one of the leading auction experts in California.
Connie Waddell - Co-Founder / CEO
Connie Waddell is Co-Founder and CEO of Elite Auctions with specific responsibilities overseeing the marketing department and general operations. She has some 30 years experience in the marketing, primarily in the field of advertising and promotions. In her current role, Ms. Waddell works to inform and create interests in the auction process both with potential sellers and buyers. She recently was awarded by the California State Auctioneers Association for her brochure designs.
Ms. Waddell is recognized for her expertise in the Real Estate Industry and is often invited to speak at both local and national real estate related seminars.
In terms of the actual auction, Ms. Waddell has attended and graduated from the Professional Ringmen's Institute (PRI). A Ringman is a very important member of every live auction team whose contributions and responsibilities include an accurate interpretation of buyer interest and an effective communication of buyer participation to her auction team.
Her greatest strengths are her enthusiasm, experience, market knowledge, networking skills and determination.
When not working, Ms. Waddell is involved in a local and national autism organization in an effort to aid both her grandson and other children in the community.
Tenille Domaleski - Office Manager / Agent
Tenille has the skills necessary to make sure Elite Auctions' day-to-day transactions run smoothly. She coordinates and handles escrows, directs clients to the proper associate, provides information to potential bidders, and assists with marketing projects. Tenille also handles accounting for each auction and manages the auction event planning.
She has received extensive training on how to explain the auction terms to potential bidders. She is licensed by the Department of Real Estate in California, which enables her to speak directly to potential bidders about the auction properties.
Rick Werner - Auction Coordinator / Agent
Rick's professional career includes over 25 years of executive level sales and management experience. He has an innate ability to think "outside the box" and is well known as a "problem solver with integrity." Rick recently returned from a 3 year sabbatical with missionary trips to Africa and India. He is detail oriented and believes trust and follow through should never be compromised.
When asked: "Why should property owners use Elite Auctions to sell their property?" He responded: 1. "We have an excellent reputation of honesty, trust and follow through." 2. "We do our homework to identify the specific needs of the property owner and take the extra steps necessary to customize a marketing package to sell their property quickly, efficiently and professionally." 3. Rick is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, the National Association of Realtors, and serves on the Board of Directors for the California State Auctioneers Association. Rick and his wife Monte Jean reside with their daughter Journey in Anaheim Hills, California.
